Music Packs
For music teachers seeking fun material for the classroom
These are packs of individual tunes containing parts for all classroom instruments. Bb and Eb parts are included to accommodate brass and woodwind players. There are also parts for drum kit and bass guitar. In every pack is a teaching sheet with tips to help the inexperienced music teacher or the non-specialist.
Here is a brief synopsis of each tune starting with the easier tunes and working up. All ages are approximate as some children have had more experience playing than others.

A good going swing tune that appeals to children. It's very old but they do not need to know that at first. The tune is based on a repetitive sequence that they will learn quickly. |

Although this tune is associated with younger children, it goes down very well with 12 - 14 year olds. It is a little tricky for the younger children to play. |

A good pop tune from the 60's. Very slow and solid and popular with all children. Quite heavy and noisy, they love that. |

The heaviest and noisiest of the arrangements so far. It consists of a repeating riff on all the instruments (no harmony parts), make it a solid rock piece. The children will have lots of fun with it. |

Theme from the film. Although played to death in some places, children that are new to the tune will be delighted by its beauty. |

A favourite tune for youngsters. It has a solid feel and works well on guitar, (it was originally written for guitar). Strong drum beat in the accompaniment echoing the American Indians. |

Written by Sting and one of his most popular tunes
The children love it, it is a very catchy tune based on repetition and therefore easy to learn. |
