FAQs

For music teachers seeking fun material for the classroom

Q. How will I know if the arrangement will fit the instruments I have available?

A. The arrangements have been deliberately created to be very flexible among different groups of instruments. The parts are interchangeable between keyboards, tuned percussion orchestral instruments. Woodwind and brass, drum kit guitar and bass guitar are a little more specialised.

Q. Can I be sure the arrangements will fit the different groups of children I have?

A. The arrangements fit certain age groups allowing for differences of ability within the classroom.

Q. I have special need children in my classroom, can I involve them?

A. As you know it will depend greatly on the degree of special need the child has, but I personally have been able to involve all children with a basic sense of rhythm. For instance, the guitar chord part could be played as a one note part changing every 4 beats.

Q. Can I legally copy parts as I need them?

A. You can legally copy as many parts as you need within your establishment. You cannot however lend, email or fax arrangements or parts within arrangements to other schools or teachers without being in breach of copyright.
